In version 3.0, h3m wiped the slate clean for this e-learning in box simulator (affectionately known as: "The PIAT"). Thanks to eHigherEducation's removal of the Flash 5 player restriction, h3m reformulated the interface design from scratch and implemented the core features with ActionScript 2.0 and ultra-light interface component helpers.

The original single path "story line" was upgraded to include an XML content structure with multiple paths and outcomes based on a decision-tree logic. The end result is an XML driven, easy-to-update simulator engine with a light code footprint.

A bonus feature which enables fast PIAT branding for different clients, h3m created a light Windows application with Flash and ZincV2 technology.

Unfortunately, we can't show you an actual PIAT due to eHigherEducation's client-content restrictions, but we're working on writing up our own simple introduction with the PIAT engine so you can see its nifty interface and core features. Check back soon!
